Located in the heart of Adelaide’s BioMed City, the Adelaide Health and Medical Sciences (AHMS) building is a state-of-the-art facility designed to transform health education and research. Arriving in Adelaide
From Adelaide Airport
Adelaide Airport (ADL) is the principal airport of Adelaide and is approximately 6 km (3.7 mi) west of the city-centre. The airport receives both domestic and international flights. Direct inbound services include flights from Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Brisbane, and Canberra (Domestic) and Singapore, Dubai, New Zealand, and Kuala Lumpur (International).

Transport within and around Adelaide
Adelaide CBD, the River Torrens, coastline, and hills are easily accessible using a variety of transport options including bus, tram (free tram access from Glenelg, North Terrace along to Botanic Gardens), train, taxi, bicycle, and by foot. Train
Adelaide Parklands Terminal is the station for interstate rail services and is approximately 3 km (1.8 mi) west of the city-centre. Interstate trains are operated by Great Southern Rail. Local rail services are operated from Adelaide Railway Station on North Terrace. Local rail services are part of the Adelaide Metro service.
Car
Adelaide is accessible by road. Ensure you have parking available for the duration of your stay. The nearest parking is at the Adelaide Convention Centre carpark. Early bird discounts apply.
Bus
Adelaide Central Bus Station is the terminus for interstate coaches and is in the heart of the city. Various coach and bus services operate routes into and from Adelaide.
Tram
Tram routes around the CBD are free and run at regular intervals. There is a tram stop right outside the AHMS building so getting to the symposium is easy. Trams also operate between the city and picturesque Glenelg.
Walking
Getting around on foot is easy in Adelaide! Most hotels in the CBD will be within walking distance to the AHMS building.
