The course is on-demand, meaning you can start whenever you’re ready. There’s no start date, and you can move through the content at your own pace based on your schedule and goals.

You will receive progress emails starting from the time you first access or purchase the course however, you’re free to start the course whenever it suits you. While you’re welcome to complete the course multiple times, the email journey will only be sent during your first attempt.

This course is ideal for individuals who have been newly diagnosed, are concerned about their family history, or are ready to take control of their heart health. Healthcare professionals can also confidently refer patients to this evidence-based program as a supportive companion to clinical care.

The course offers a range of resources to access from the comfort of your home, in a time that suits you. These include video lessons, text lessons, downloads and demonstrations. If you have questions, you can contact our DFN team for assistance, or ask questions directly within the course.

DFN members will have lifetime access to the course materials for as long as they remain members after purchasing the course. Non-members will have access for 12 months from the date of purchase. Within these timeframes, you can revisit the content as often as you like, whenever it suits you.

Within the course, you’ll find links to various recipe websites that our team have vetted. We clearly indicate those that are whole food plant-based and low in sugar, oil and salt. We also share some favourite recipes from previous course contributors, for you to download and keep.

No special equipment is required. The recipes use common kitchen tools, and ingredients can be found at most grocery stores. We’ll guide you on pantry staples to keep on hand for easy meal prep.

We link to a range of plant-based recipe websites, including options that cater to common allergens like gluten. All recipes shared are entirely free from meat, dairy, and eggs.
