Tourism

We hope you find time to enjoy your stay in Sydney and visit some of the wonderful things the city has to offer. From a vibrant city centre, it is only a short trip to beautiful beaches and world famous Sydney Harbour Bridge.

City Centre
Sydney’s CBD is a compact, walkable hub wrapped around the harbour, where sleek skyscrapers sit beside grand old sandstone buildings and leafy parks. Start at Circular Quay for postcard views of the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge, then wander into The Rocks to explore cobblestone laneways, historic pubs, weekend markets and harbourside bars. From there, it’s an easy stroll through the Royal Botanic Garden and Hyde Park for a dose of green space in the middle of the city, or up to the Queen Victoria Building and Pitt Street Mall for heritage architecture and serious shopping. Make time to head up Sydney Tower Eye for a 360-degree view of the city and harbour, and in the evenings, check out Darling Harbour and Barangaroo for waterfront dining, and a lively atmosphere that runs late into the night.

Beaches
Sydney is spoiled for beaches, from its iconic surf spots to calm harbour coves. Bondi is the big-name drawcard, with a buzzing promenade, great people-watching and the famous coastal walk that links it to the smaller but equally lovely Tamarama and Bronte beaches. On the north side, Manly offers a classic Aussie beach day with an easy ferry ride from Circular Quay, good beginner-friendly surf and plenty of cafés nearby. For something more relaxed, Balmoral’s sheltered harbour setting is ideal for swimming, paddle-boarding and long waterside lunches, while Coogee combines a laid-back village feel with ocean pools and family-friendly vibes.
