Dr Maria Tihui Cervantes

Dr Maria is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners with 30 years of experience. She completed her medical degree in 1994 in Mexico City and migrated to Australia in 2010. A GP in Adelaide since 2012, Dr Maria became vegan overnight in 2018 and actively helps patients prevent and treat chronic conditions through a WFPB diet. Her understanding of this lifestyle is shaped by extensive education, and she holds a postgraduate degree in Clinical Nutrition. Passionate about justice, environmental responsibility, and animal rights, Dr Maria also contributes to multicultural community radio broadcasts twice a month.
Qualifications/Credentials
Dr Maria holds specialised training in women's health and mental health, culminating in her attainment of a specialist registration with AHPRA. She furthered her professional development with a Masters of Leadership in Public Health from the University of Technology of Sydney, reflecting her commitment to excellence in healthcare leadership and management.

Dr Maria offers phone consultations Tuesdays and Thursdays all day, and face to face consultations Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
